About Betsy...
Betsy helps individuals, schools, and families navigate various social services and educational tools and strategies to ensure that all individuals with disabilities achieve a high quality of life.

She has worked in the field of Disability Services for over ten years as a Life Skills & Vocational Education Teacher in public schools as well as a Program Coordinator at Easter Seals of Greater Houston. There, she coordinated and facilitated inclusive, daytime, and overnight camps for youth and young adults with disabilities and ran the LEAD (Life Enrichment for Adults with Disabilities) day program.

She is passionate about serving individuals with disabilities and helping others see the unique, enriching qualities that this population brings to the world. She has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to creating successful, data driven educational programs for those in self-contained Special Education environments. Her years in social service equipped her with an in depth understanding of the services and assistance available to individuals with disabilities as well as the knowledge to utilize these tools to create a high quality of life for these individuals and their families.

She would love to work alongside you to promote, enhance, and celebrate the unique populations you work with!
