I love to help teachers understand how to lead goal oriented, individualized, TEKS based, self-contained Special Ed classrooms without getting burned out. My passion for Disability Services paired with my love for organization, data analysis, schedules, and Microsoft Excel inspired me to create a comprehensive organizational system that can be tailored to fit any classroom.

My years spent in non-profit work also helped me learn to think creatively when it comes to using small budgets to accomplish great things. I have learned to utilize all available resources to deliver top notch programs and services.

1:1 Teacher Mentoring

Often times, self-contained Special Ed teachers can feel isolated as they are typically the only one on their campus teaching what they are teaching and working with their specific population of students. This can be especially challenging for new teachers. I offer these teachers guidance, support, and resources to help them know that they are not alone and to help them thrive in the classroom! Mentoring can be on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis- it is flexible to meet the needs of the classroom teacher!
